FBI Fingerprint Screening - Through IdentoGO

The bullet points below contain all the information you need to complete an FBI Fingerprint background screening. 

  • You will be emailed a 17-digit voucher code to pay for the Fingerprint Screening
  • The Service Code to get started on the IdentoGo website is 1KG738 
  • The service is called “1KG738 – Pennsylvania DHS-Child Care Services/Program Employee or Contractor”
  • Click here to get started “Schedule Fingerprinting Here”  
  • Under the Personal Questions section, be sure to select Yes to: “Do you have an Authorization Code (Coupon Code) that you will be using as a method of payment?”
  • The results of the IdentoGO FBI Fingerprint Screening are emailed to you and mailed to your address within 14 days. You must upload a picture (.jpg) or (.pdf) to the ‘Forms’ page in your staff portal when you receive them in the mail

Once you complete the steps to set up an appointment, you can “walk in” whenever it works best for you.

PA Criminal Background Check

Please follow the steps below to complete your PA Criminal Background Check:

  • click the second box, “submit a new record check” 
  • DO NOT CLICK “NEW VOLUNTEER RECORD CHECK” 
  • accept the terms and click “Individual Request”
  • once you pay for the service, results are instant
  • click your control number then click “Certification Form”  
  • please upload your results to your staff portal under ‘Forms’
  • this is not paid for by Future Stars

PA Child Abuse Clearance

Please follow the steps below to complete your PA Child Abuse Clearance:

  • click “CREATE INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT“
  • after creating an account, you will be emailed a password for your “KEYSTONE ID” you just created
  • go back to the original link and click “INDIVIDUAL LOGIN” to sign in 
  • you will then follow the steps to login and create your own password
  • once logged in with your own password, click “CREATE CLEARANCE APPLICATION” and complete the application 
  • results will be emailed within 14 days, please upload your results to your staff portal under ‘Forms’
  • this is not paid for by Future Stars
