Every child has a different idea of a great summer. Some want to spend the day playing sports, others love creating, building, experimenting, or trying something new each week. At Future Stars, there is no one type of camper—and there is no one-size-fits-all camp experience.
Future Stars offers programs for children ages 5–13 that give campers opportunities to stay active, explore their interests, build friendships, and have fun in a positive, supportive environment. Whether your child wants a little bit of everything, is ready for a sports-focused summer, or cannot wait to dive into hands-on STEAM activities, there is a program that can help make their summer unforgettable.
For Kids Who Want a Little Bit of Everything
Traditional Day Camp
Traditional Day Camp is a great choice for children ages 5–13 who enjoy variety. Rather than focusing on one interest all day, campers take part in a broad mix of activities that can include art, makerspace projects, STEAM, robotics, sports and games, swimming, group activities, weekly themes, and special guests. Campers are grouped by grade level, helping activities feel age-appropriate and engaging.
This program is a strong fit for the child who:
- Likes trying many different activities
- Enjoys both active play and creative projects
- Wants time for sports, games, swimming, art, and hands-on learning
- Is still discovering what they enjoy most
- Wants each week of camp to feel different
At Traditional Day Camp, no two weeks are exactly the same. Weekly themes, Wacky Wednesdays, and special guest experiences—such as live reptile encounters, magician and balloon-artist visits, and traveling planetariums—help keep the summer fresh and exciting.

For many families, Traditional Day Camp is the easiest choice because it offers a well-rounded camp experience in one place. Children can move, create, make friends, learn, and explore without having to choose only one type of activity for the whole summer.
For Kids Who Love Sports
All Sports
The All Sports program is designed for campers ages 7–13 who want a more sports-focused camp experience. Campers rotate through a wide range of activities, including basketball, soccer, lacrosse, flag football, tennis, team handball, volleyball, and more. They also participate in swimming each day.
This program is a great fit for the child who:
- Looks forward to playing sports every day
- Enjoys friendly competition
- Wants to improve skills across more than one sport
- Likes being part of a team
- Wants to stay active throughout the day
All Sports is not just for experienced athletes. The program is built around age-appropriate activities, positive coaching, teamwork, sportsmanship, and individual growth. Campers can try familiar sports, discover new favorites, practice game strategies, and build confidence while participating alongside peers.

For the child who would choose a ball, field, court, or game every day of the week, All Sports offers a high-energy summer filled with movement, teamwork, and fun.
For Young Campers Starting Out
Sports Junior (available at select locations)
Sports Junior is designed specifically for children ages 5–6. It introduces younger campers to a variety of sports in a fun, encouraging environment while helping them develop fundamental skills. Activities may include basketball, soccer, floor hockey, flag football, tennis, team handball, volleyball, and more, along with daily swimming.
This program is a great fit for the child who:
- Is ready to begin exploring sports
- Learns best through movement and play
- Is building coordination and fundamental motor skills
- Enjoys being active with children their own age
- Benefits from a supportive, non-competitive introduction to group activities
For many young children, Sports Junior can be a comfortable first step into a more active camp experience. Enthusiastic counselors help campers learn new skills while emphasizing teamwork, participation, confidence, and having fun.
It is an especially strong option for families looking for a program that meets younger children where they are—giving them opportunities to move, play, swim, make friends, and grow more comfortable participating in a group.
For Curious and Creative Kids
STEAM Camps
Future Stars STEAM Camps are ideal for children who love to build, design, create, investigate, experiment, and ask questions. These one-week specialty camps are offered at select locations and combine hands-on learning with camp-wide special events, daily swimming, and an active game period.

STEAM Camps are a great fit for the child who:
- Loves science, technology, art, design, or building projects
- Enjoys experimenting and solving problems
- Wants to focus on a favorite interest for a week
- Likes working on hands-on projects with other campers
- Is excited by coding, robotics, rockets, animation, drones, digital media, culinary projects, or creative design
The available program options give families plenty of ways to match camp with a child’s interests. Depending on location and age, campers may explore Fine Arts, CSI, Tech Academy, Digital Media, Maker Mania, Aerospace, Drone Academy, Stop Motion Animation, Minecraft Coding, Robotics, Virtual Reality, Culinary, Podcasting, or 3D Printing and Design.
STEAM Camps are about more than learning a specific topic. Campers practice creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving while bringing their ideas to life. Whether a child is designing a robot, launching a rocket, creating an animation, coding a project, or experimenting in the kitchen, they have a chance to discover new skills and new interests.
Choosing the Right Program
The best program is the one that matches what your child is excited about now. A child who loves variety may thrive at Traditional Day Camp. A sports-loving child may be happiest in All Sports. A younger camper may enjoy the supportive introduction offered through Sports Junior. A child who cannot stop building, creating, coding, or experimenting may be ready for a STEAM Camp.
You also do not have to choose just one type of summer experience. Because Future Stars offers different programs and camp weeks, families can build a summer around their child’s interests. A camper might spend one week exploring a STEAM specialty program and another week enjoying a broader day-camp or sports experience, depending on available offerings at their location.
Most importantly, summer camp should be a place where your child feels welcomed, engaged, and excited to return each day. Future Stars programs are designed to help campers explore what they love, try what is new, and make the most of their summer.
Plan Ahead for Summer
Future Stars early registration opens in October each year. Registering early gives families the opportunity to secure the lowest available camp rate with a deposit, choose camp weeks that fit their summer schedule, and adjust plans later if needed.
For families with more than one child, registering one child early can also help keep the family rate in place. If a sibling is added later, they can be enrolled at the same family rate without an increase. Deposits are 100% refundable until April 1st.
